KTM Introduces the Affordable 390 Adventure X

Alongside the latest 390 Adventure, KTM has also launched the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X at Rs 2.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant offers a more road-focused and budget-friendly alternative to the premium 390 Adventure.

Engine and Performance

The 390 Adventure X is powered by the same 399cc, single-cylinder engine as the standard 390 Adventure. It produces 46hp and 39Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bidirectional quickshifter. Despite sharing the same chassis, the ADV X is 1kg lighter, weighing 182kg.

Design and Electronics

While its design closely resembles the standard 390 Adventure, the ADV X features 19/17-inch alloy wheels, making it more suited for urban and highway use. The electronics suite is simpler, and its suspension remains non-adjustable, though it retains the same 200mm/205mm (F/R) suspension travel.

New TFT Display and Quickshifter

A significant upgrade for the 2025 model is the addition of the TFT display, previously seen on the 390 Adventure and the latest 200, 250, and 390 Duke models. The bidirectional quickshifter also comes as standard, enhancing riding comfort.

Pricing and Rivals

At Rs 2.91 lakh, the 390 Adventure X is Rs 77,000 more affordable than the standard 390 Adventure. It directly competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which is priced between Rs 2.85 lakh and Rs 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
