Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Ninja 1100SX at ₹14.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The big sport-tourer remains mechanically and feature-wise identical to the outgoing version but now comes in a new black-and-gold paint scheme, replacing the signature black-and-green livery that has been iconic to this model.
Under the fairing, the Ninja 1100SX continues to draw power from a 1,099cc inline-four, liquid-cooled engine producing 136hp at 9,000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 7,600rpm. The motor is now E20 fuel-compliant, aligning with India’s latest emission and fuel standards. Notably, this engine is tuned for strong midrange performance rather than a high-revving top-end, making it well-suited for long-distance riding on Indian roads.
The chassis setup also remains familiar, featuring an aluminium frame, fully adjustable Showa suspension, and Kawasaki-branded Tokico brakes with dual-channel ABS.
On the feature front, the Ninja 1100SX continues to offer a 4.3-inch TFT display with four riding modes — Rain, Road, Sport, and Rider (customisable) — managed by a six-axis IMU. Riders get a bidirectional quickshifter, traction control, and power mode adjustments, providing an advanced electronics suite for both touring comfort and spirited performance.
While the 2026 version retains the same pricing as before, its new black-and-gold colour option gives it a fresh visual appeal for the model year. Deliveries for the 2026 Ninja 1100SX begin on December 29, 2025.
At ₹14.42 lakh, the Ninja 1100SX continues to stand out as a unique litre-class sport-tourer that blends real-world usability, refinement, and long-distance comfort — a combination that remains unmatched in its segment.
