BMW Motorrad has introduced the latest R 12 and R 12 nineT roadster models in India, priced at Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 20.90 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. These models blend classic design with modern technology, appealing to motorcycle enthusiasts.
Powerful 1,170cc Boxer Engine
Both models share the same robust 1,170cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine. This powerhouse delivers 110hp at 7,000rpm and 115Nm at 6,500rpm, ensuring an exhilarating ride. The engine’s performance is a key highlight, setting these motorcycles apart in the heritage segment.
Classic Design with Modern Features
The R 12 and R 12 nineT showcase BMW’s commitment to blending retro aesthetics with contemporary elements. The R 12 nineT features an aluminium tank with brushed side panels, while the R 12 boasts a steel tank reminiscent of the 1970s BMW /5 models.
