Ducati Launches 2026 Streetfighter V4 in India at ₹28.69 Lakh with Major Performance Upgrades

News Story

Ducati has added a new weapon to its arsenal of high-performance motorcycles in India with the launch of the 2026 Streetfighter V4, priced from ₹28.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Following its recent launches of the Multistrada V2 and Panigale V2, Ducati continues to raise the bar with the new Streetfighter, offering enhanced performance, updated design, and improved ergonomics for riders seeking exhilaration on both road and track.

Power-Packed Performance
The refreshed Streetfighter V4 features the familiar 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now Euro 5+ compliant, delivering a robust 214hp at 13,500rpm and 120Nm of torque at 11,250rpm. Ducati also offers an optional full-system Akrapovič exhaust that boosts output to a staggering 226hp. New design winglets provide up to 14kg of downforce at 268kph, and the bike’s distinctive headlight and taillight designs reinforce its aggressive character.

Focused Updates and Advanced Tech
Improvements extend under the skin with a new hollow symmetrical swingarm, reducing lateral stiffness and saving weight compared to the previous single-sided setup. The front frame is lighter by 1kg, and the motorcycle incorporates a freshly revised chassis for better agility. The S variant takes things further with Öhlins’ Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension and lighter forged aluminum wheels, leading to an impressive curb weight of 189kg.

Riders benefit from a more comfortable and commanding riding position thanks to a wider handlebar set 10mm closer, lower and more forward footpegs, and a slimmed-down fuel tank. Ducati’s electronics suite – inherited from the Panigale V4 – remains state-of-the-art, offering traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cornering ABS, and a six-axis IMU. A new Race eCBS braking system adds extra safety by modulating rear brake pressure during aggressive riding.

Pricing, Variants, and Availability
The standard V4 is tagged at ₹28.69 lakh, while the premium S variant is priced at ₹32.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The V4’s price undercuts the Panigale V4 by ₹3.36 lakh but is notably higher than the outgoing model by ₹2.37 lakh; the S variant sees a ₹2.67 lakh increase as well. Bookings for the 2026 Ducati Streetfighter V4 have opened nationwide, and deliveries are set to begin immediately, making this power-packed machine accessible to Indian enthusiasts without delay.
