News Story

The all-new 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 has been launched in India at Rs 19.12 lakh for the base variant and Rs 21.10 lakh for the V2 S. Unveiled at EICMA 2024, this model introduces Ducati’s latest 890cc 90-degree V-twin engine, the lightest twin-cylinder ever produced by the brand, weighing just 54.4 kg. The engine produces 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, striking a balance between high performance and rideability by focusing on agility and accessibility.

Weighing just 175 kg (dry) for the V2 S and 179 kg for the base variant, it is the lightest Panigale ever, offering an exhilarating power-to-weight ratio. The bike complies with Indian E20 fuel norms and sports advanced electronics like cornering ABS, traction and wheelie control, engine brake management, and multiple riding modes selectable via a 5-inch TFT display. The V2 S variant stands out with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension and additional features like launch control and pit limiter, while the base model uses high-quality Marzocchi and Kayaba suspension.

Its styling is sharper and more aerodynamic than its predecessor, with distinctive LED lights and under-seat exhausts contributing both to aesthetics and performance. The new Panigale V2 competes directly with other middleweight superbikes like the Yamaha R9 and KTM 990 RC R, bringing Ducati’s signature racing DNA to a more accessible segment for Indian enthusiasts. With this launch, Ducati aims to redefine superbike ownership by balancing everyday rideability with thrilling track capability.
