Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have expanded their co-developed lineup with the launch of the new Harley-Davidson X440 T, positioned as the flagship trim in the X440 range. Priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the X440 T introduces significant updates in design, comfort, and technology, setting a new benchmark for the platform.
The biggest upgrade lies in the addition of ride-by-wire throttle, which enables two selectable riding modes — Road and Rain. The motorcycle also gains switchable traction control, switchable rear ABS, and even a Panic Braking Alert system, elevating its safety and electronic sophistication beyond the earlier X440 variants.
A reworked rear subframe gives the bike an all-new tail section with redesigned grab handles, enhancing both the aesthetics and pillion comfort. The X440 T’s updated stance looks more proportionate and muscular, addressing earlier design critiques regarding the gap between the rear wheel and fender. With a kerb weight of 192kg, it is just 1.5kg heavier than the standard model.
Powering the X440 T is the familiar 440cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine producing 27hp and 38Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The variant is available in four colour options — Black, Red, Blue, and White.
With this launch, Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp have discontinued the X440 Denim variant, phasing out spoke wheels entirely. The current lineup now includes:
X440 Vivid – ₹2.34 lakh
X440 S – ₹2.55 lakh
X440 T – ₹2.79 lakh
Bookings for the X440 T open December 7, available through Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships, as well as the official X440 website.
