Traction Control System Added – Enhancing rider safety

OBD2B-Compliant Engine – Reduced torque output by 0.4Nm

Performance and Engine Specifications

The Honda NX200 retains the mechanical setup of the CB200X. It continues to be powered by a 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two-valve engine, now updated to meet OBD2B compliance standards. While the power output remains unchanged at 17hp, torque has slightly dropped to 15.7Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and features a slip-and-assist clutch for smooth shifts.

Design and Styling Updates

The NX200 retains the signature adventure-inspired styling of the CB200X. It continues to feature an all-LED lighting setup and sharp bodywork, ensuring a commanding road presence. However, Honda has introduced a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, identical to the unit seen on the updated Honda Activa.

Enhanced Safety with Traction Control

A significant addition to the NX200 is the inclusion of Honda’s Traction Control System (HSTC). This feature enhances safety by preventing rear-wheel slippage in challenging road conditions.

Color Options and Price

The Honda NX200 is available in three striking color choices:

Red

Blue

Black

Priced at Rs 1.68 lakh, the NX200 comes with a Rs 17,000 premium over the outgoing CB200X.

Final Thoughts

With the NX200, Honda aims to offer a refreshed package while keeping the adventure DNA of the CB200X intact. The addition of a TFT display and traction control makes it a more enticing choice for riders seeking a stylish, feature-rich, and city-friendly adventure bike.
