News Story

The 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is back, Priced at an attractive Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom), this iconic machine is set to capture the hearts of riders and enthusiasts alike.

The Transition to the J-Platform Engine

One of the standout features of the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is its transition to the 349cc J-platform engine. This engine overhaul brings it in line with its siblings, the Hunter 350, Classic 350, and the Meteor 350. This shared platform means that the Bullet 350 now boasts the same air-cooled, 349cc single-cylinder engine, generating a robust 20hp and 27Nm of torque, as seen in the Classic 350.

Frame and Suspension Enhancements

With the new J-platform architecture, the Bullet 350 sports not only a new engine but also a fresh frame. It’s supported by a conventional telescopic fork and twin shock absorber setup, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. To enhance braking performance, the Bullet 350 comes equipped with a 300mm front disc brake, and higher-spec versions even feature a substantial 270mm rear disc brake.

Aesthetic Differentiators

You’ll notice several visual distinctions compared to its sibling, the Classic 350. These include a single-piece seat, designed for comfort during long rides, and a modified handlebar that promotes a more upright riding position. Rectangular side boxes and a squared-off rear fender add a touch of modernity to this classic design.

The tail-lamp housing on the Bullet 350 is distinct, although the tail-lamp itself remains the same as the Classic’s, preserving its timeless charm.

An Array of Colors and Customization Options

Enthusiasts and riders have the pleasure of choosing from a palette of five stunning colors for the Bullet 350, some of which feature a blacked-out engine finish for a stealthy look. But what truly warms the hearts of Bullet loyalists is the continuation of the iconic hand-painted gold pinstripes on the fuel tank, which is a hallmark of this legendary motorcycle.
