Classic Legends has introduced the stunning Ivory color variant for the Jawa 42, priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), making it the most expensive option in the lineup. This purely cosmetic update brings the total color count to 15, featuring fresh retro-inspired decals while keeping the mechanical package unchanged.
Striking Ivory Design
The pastel Ivory finish covers the front fender, headlamp nacelle, fuel tank, side panels, and rear fender with a beige tone. Standout graphics include ‘Forty Two’ script across the tank/rear fender, contrasting ’42’ badges on side panels and nacelle, plus a chequered flag motif on the teardrop tank – a nod to 1960s/’70s racing classics. Blacked-out engine and cycle parts add factory custom appeal.
Unchanged Performance
Power comes from the familiar 294cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 27.3hp and 26.8Nm torque through a 6-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch. Suspension uses telescopic forks and twin shocks; braking handled by dual-channel ABS (higher variants) with disc brakes front/rear. Base prices start at Rs 1.59 lakh across Single/Dual Channel ABS variants.
Ownership Package
Jawa Yezdi’s Ownership Assurance Programme offers 4-year/50,000km warranty (extendable to 6 years), up to 8 years roadside assistance, and 5 years AMC nationwide.
Now with on-road prices Rs 1.77-1.87 lakh, the Ivory 42 appeals to custom enthusiasts seeking subtle elegance in the competitive retro segment. Book online or at Jawa dealers
