News Story

Royal Enfield has launched the updated Classic 350 range, with prices ranging from Rs 1,99,500 to Rs 2,30,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The iconic motorcycle has received feature upgrades across all variants, enhancing its appeal while retaining its timeless design.

Key Features and Upgrades

All variants of the Classic 350 now come equipped with LED pilot lights, a headlight, and a tail-lamp. The top two variants are further upgraded with LED indicators, Tripper navigation pod, and adjustable levers as standard features. For the other variants, these upgrades are available as optional extras.

Mechanically Unchanged

Despite the feature upgrades, the mechanics of the Classic 350 remain the same. The bike is powered by the familiar J-platform 349cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 20hp and 27Nm of torque. There are no changes to the cycle parts, ensuring that the riding experience stays consistent with previous models

One significant update is the discontinuation of variants with a rear drum brake and the removal of single-channel ABS options. Now, all variants come with dual-channel ABS as standard, enhancing safety for riders.

Classic 350 Variant and Pricing Details

Royal Enfield has revamped the variant nomenclature for the Classic 350 with five distinct models:

Heritage: Rs 1,99,500

Heritage Premium: Rs 2.04 lakh

Dark: Rs 2.25 lakh

Chrome: Rs 2.30 lakh

These prices reflect a slight increase over the previous model, which was priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh.

Rivalry in the Market

The Classic 350 faces stiff competition from a range of motorcycles in the retro and modern-classic segments. Notable competitors include:

Triumph Speed 400: Rs 2.35 lakh

Harley-Davidson X440: Rs 2.40 lakh to Rs 2.80 lakh

Jawa 350: Rs 2.15 lakh

Honda CB350: Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.18 lakh

The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 stays true to its heritage while incorporating key upgrades to meet modern expectations. With its refined features and robust build, it continues to dominate the segment, offering both style and reliability to riders. Its strong legacy, paired with enhanced safety features and new tech, makes it a worthy competitor in the growing mid-range motorcycle market.
