Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Bullet 650 at EICMA 2025 in Milan, expanding its iconic Bullet lineup into the 650cc segment. The new Bullet 650 inherits signature old-school design elements while sharing its robust mechanicals and chassis with the Classic 650, making it both a nod to tradition and a modern upgrade for fans of the marque.
Classic Bullet Styling, Modern Engineering
The Bullet 650 boasts distinctive styling cues, including hand-painted pinstripes, a chrome headlight hood, metal tank badging, and classic twin pilot lamps surrounding its LED headlight. The bike utilizes the same 648cc parallel-twin engine found across the 650 range, delivering 47hp and 52.3Nm of torque, paired with modern features like adjustable brake and clutch levers and premium aluminium switchgear. Suspension is managed by a Showa telescopic fork and twin shocks.
Its underpinnings—wheelbase, kerb weight, seat height, and ground clearance—mirror those of the Classic 650, with the main differences lying in the Bullet’s retro-focused design philosophy. Riders get a digi-analogue instrument cluster with a traditional speedometer and a digital display for essential info. The Bullet 650 debuts in two colorways: Royal Enfield’s hallmark black and a new blue shade.
India Launch Timeline and Special Edition
While Royal Enfield has yet to confirm an official India launch date, speculation suggests the Bullet 650’s introduction could coincide with Motoverse 2025 on November 21. Alongside the new Bullet, Royal Enfield also showcased a limited edition Classic 650 to commemorate 125 years of the brand. This exclusive variant features an eye-catching paint job that shifts from red to gold and a commemorative ‘125 Years’ crest, though it remains mechanically unchanged from the standard Classic 650.
With these unveilings, Royal Enfield further cements its presence in the midsize premium motorcycle segment while honoring its rich legacy of design and engineering.
