Triumph has quietly launched the Speed Triple 1200 RX in India at Rs 23.07 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited-edition streetfighter is capped at 1,200 units worldwide. Built on the Speed Triple 1200 RS platform, it features a sportier rider’s triangle with lower clip-ons and higher, more rear-set foot pegs for aggressive ergonomics.

Powered by a 1,163cc inline-three liquid-cooled engine, it delivers 183hp at 10,750rpm and 128Nm at 8,750rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The RX variant is distinguished by exclusive neon yellow-black graphics, a carbon-fibre and titanium Akrapovic exhaust, and a carbon fibre front mudguard.

It retains premium Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 semi-active suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes with an MCS radial master cylinder, and an Ohlins steering damper for exceptional handling. Despite the high-spec components, the kerb weight remains an impressive 199kg. Triumph has not disclosed the number of units allotted to the Indian market but this RX edition delivers a track-ready package with aggressive styling and race-bred performance for passionate riders.​
