Triumph has expanded its Tiger lineup with the launch of the Tiger Sport 800 Tour, a more touring-focused and pillion-friendly version of the popular Tiger Sport 800. Designed for riders who enjoy long road trips without sacrificing comfort, the new variant brings plenty of practicality right from the factory.
The Tiger Sport 800 Tour comes loaded with official Triumph touring accessories as standard. These include colour-matched panniers, a top box with a passenger backrest, a comfort seat, heated grips, knuckle guards, and a centre stand — all of which make it better equipped for two-up touring. Together, the luggage system offers an impressive 106 litres of storage capacity (49 litres in the top box and 57 litres in the panniers).
However, all these additions increase the motorcycle’s weight to 232kg, which is 14kg heavier than the standard Tiger Sport 800. The Touring variant retains the same mechanical setup — a 798cc three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 115hp at 10,750rpm and 84Nm of torque at 8,500rpm.
The chassis, electronics package, and overall ergonomics remain unchanged, meaning riders can still expect the same refined on-road handling characteristics that define the Tiger Sport line.
Available in blue/black and red/black colour schemes with subtle gold accents, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour blends practicality, comfort, and style, making it an ideal choice for riders who crave long-distance travel with a passenger.
