News Story

Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle startup Ultraviolette has launched its flagship F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet models in the United Kingdom, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy.

The entry into the UK market comes through a strategic distribution partnership with Netherlands-based MotoMondo, which manages sales and distribution across Europe. Both the F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet are available exclusively in their premium Recon variants, featuring enhanced battery capacity, powerful electric motors delivering up to 30 kW of peak output, and advanced safety technologies including Bosch dual-channel ABS and multiple traction control modes.

These high-performance electric motorcycles offer a claimed IDC range of up to 323 km and top speeds nearing 155 km/h, positioning them as serious contenders in the European electric motorcycle scene. Ultraviolette showcased the F77 models alongside its full product lineup, including the radar-equipped X-47, Tesseract scooter, Shockwave, and F99 concept, at the prestigious Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham.

Priced at £8,499 (approximately ₹9.9 lakh) for the F77 Mach 2 and £8,799 (around ₹10.3 lakh) for the F77 SuperStreet in the UK, Ultraviolette aims to carve out a premium niche for Indian-made electric motorcycles in markets traditionally dominated by established global brands.

This launch highlights Ultraviolette’s ambition to lead India’s electric two-wheeler revolution on an international stage and taps into the UK’s rich motorcycling culture with cutting-edge electric performance machines. The partnership with MotoMondo also sets the stage for further expansion into other European countries in the near future.
