The RE Interceptor 650

Engine

The Bike is powered by a 647.95 cc Inline twin cylinder, 4 stroke / SOHC that generates Max Power 34.9 kW @ 7250 rpm and Max Torque 52.3 Nm @ 5150 rpm.

The 2023 model gets an LED headlight, new switchgear, and the long-awaited alloy wheels on 2 of the 7 colors (Barcelona Blue and Black Ray).

The Interceptor continues with Ceat tires. The new feature Interceptor gets is the addition of a USB charging port on the left handlebar.

 

Price

Prices start at Rs 3.03 lakh and go up to Rs 3.31 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which marks a Rs 16,000 increase over the earlier pricing.

RE Continental GT

RE Continental GT (alloys Wheel Version)

Engine

The bike is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, that produces 47.5hp power and 52Nm torque. The chassis is similar to the previous version along with the suspension.

The bike gets 18-inches wheels at either end – the wheels come wrapped in new Vredestein tyres, as opposed to the Ceats in the previous iteration.

 

New Switchgear

The 2023 update gives the GT a much-needed update with its brand new halogen reflector headlight with the LED unit, the bike borrows its new switchgear design from bikes like the Super Meteor. The new switch cubes given in the bike are crafted from aluminum.

The final new feature of the bike is the addition of a USB charging port on the left handlebar.

 

Price

Pricing of Continental GT 650 starts from Rs 3.19 lakh. Prices go up to Rs 3.45 lakh for the top-end ‘Mr. Clean’ chrome version (which gets wire-spoke wheels), while the alloy wheel-equipped versions(Apex Grey and Slipstream Blue)are priced at Rs 3.39 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India).
