Vida Launches VX2 Go FB with Fixed Battery, Priced at Rs 1.13 Lakh

News Story

Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand Vida has expanded its VX2 electric scooter range with the launch of the new VX2 Go FB, priced at Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant sits alongside the existing removable-battery versions of the VX2 but takes a different approach to charging.

While the rest of the VX2 range relies on removable battery packs, the Go FB is equipped with a 3.1kWh fixed battery that uses direct-plug charging instead. According to Vida, the move is intended to give buyers more flexibility, allowing them to choose between fixed-battery and removable-battery solutions depending on their daily usage and home charging requirements.

The fixed battery pack delivers an IDC-certified range of 128km. Power comes from the same 6kW swingarm-mounted electric motor used across the VX2 lineup, giving the scooter a claimed top speed of 70kph. The Go FB also supports DC fast charging, with Hero claiming a 0-80 percent charge time of 65 minutes — a relevant number for buyers who won’t have the option of swapping batteries.

On the features front, the scooter gets a 4.3-inch LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, a USB charging port, Bluetooth connectivity and a clock. Practicality is addressed via 27.2 litres of under-seat storage and a long single-piece seat.

**Vida VX2 range: price and variants**

With the introduction of the Go FB, the Vida VX2 lineup now spans five variants built around four different battery pack options, priced between Rs 74,490 and Rs 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom):

– Go 2.2kWh
– Go 2.2kWh RQ
– Go 3.1kWh
– Go FB (3.1kWh, fixed battery) — the new addition
– The range-topping 4.4kWh variant

Claimed range across the lineup varies from 93km on the smallest 2.2kWh battery to 187km on the largest 4.4kWh pack, giving buyers a fairly wide spread to choose from depending on budget and daily running requirements.
