Recently, EV start-up Ola Electric announced the grand opening of its 500th Experience Centre (EC) in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Ola Electric, which is present in around 300 cities, has a target of opening 1,000 showrooms by August 2023.
Although the company has 500 showrooms in the country, a major portion of its sales still comes from its website and app.
Anshul Khandelwal, CMO, Ola Electric said, “The opening of our 500th store signifies not only a celebration of our accomplishments but also serves as a reminder of the challenges that still lie ahead.” He further added that they would continue to work towards a sustainable future for India.
Ola has about a 40% share of the EV market. Last month, the company sold over 30,000 units, the highest till now.
