Bajaj has introduced a more affordable variant of its popular Chetak electric scooter, the Chetak 2901. Here are the key details:
Battery and LCD
The Chetak 2901 features the same 2.9 kWh battery and colour LCD as the Chetak Urbane. The scooter offers a claimed range of 123 km.
Pricing and TecPac
The Chetak 2901 is priced at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom India). An optional TecPac is available for Rs 3,000, adding features like Eco and Sport riding modes, reverse mode, hill-hold assist, and alloy wheels.
Design and Features
The Chetak 2901 maintains the design of the Chetak range but includes steel wheels and a single riding mode as standard. Extra features are available through the TecPac.
Body and Charger
This sub-Rs 1 lakh e-scooter has a full metal body and comes with an off-board charger, similar to the Chetak Urbane. The Chetak Premium, in contrast, includes an on-board charger.
