Yamaha Fascino S: A Subtle Yet Significant Update

Yamaha has updated its most affordable scooter, the Fascino, with a new variant. The new ‘S’ variant is available in three matte shades and includes an exclusive feature. This ‘Answer Back’ feature is app-based and can only be used via Yamaha’s mobile app.

The ‘Answer Back’ function is listed as ‘Yamaha Scooter Answer Back.’ Activating it helps locate your scooter. The feature works by activating both left and right indicators, along with a horn sound for two seconds. Apart from this, the Fascino remains unchanged for 2024. It is still powered by a 125cc single-cylinder motor that produces 8.2 hp and 10.3 Nm of torque. The Fascino weighs 99 kg and boasts 21 liters of underseat storage.

Yamaha Fascino Variants and Pricing

The Fascino is available in three variants: Drum, Disc, and S. The entry-level Drum variant starts at Rs 79,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Disc variant is priced at Rs 91,130 (ex-showroom Delhi). The S variant starts at Rs 93,730 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the matte red or matte black shade. The matte dark blue option costs Rs 94,530 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Yamaha Fascino competes with the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125, and the Hero Destini 125 Xtec. With its new variant and additional features, the Fascino aims to strengthen its position in the competitive scooter market.
