A Special Edition Honoring Kargil Vijay Diwas

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, TVS Motors has unveiled the custom-built Ronin Parakram. Designed by East India Motorcycle Revolution Customs, this unique motorcycle features several cosmetic upgrades while maintaining the core mechanicals of the original TVS Ronin.

Custom Features of TVS Ronin Parakram

The TVS Ronin Parakram stands out with its custom-made parts, making it a one-off model that is unlikely to go on sale. It sports a distinct olive-green tank with silver accents. A pinstripe of the Indian flag flows from the headlight to the tank, paying homage to the brave soldiers of the Kargil War. Additional details include paintings of soldiers on the mudguards, knee recesses, and side panels. The left-side cover also features a circular lamp that illuminates the number 99 in yellow, adding to the bike’s exclusive aesthetics.

Design Enhancements for a Bold Look

Unlike the standard Ronin, the Ronin Parakram edition boasts a single suede leather seat and suede leather handlebar grips. The rear subframe has been shortened, giving it a more aggressive stance, and a stainless steel luggage carrier has been fitted. While the bike retains the same alloy wheels as the original model, the addition of knobby tires gives the Ronin Parakram a rugged, off-road-ready appearance. Bullet-shaped brass indicators and a silver windscreen above the headlight further enhance its distinctive style.

Mechanically Unchanged Yet Powerful

Despite the visual overhaul, the TVS Ronin Parakram remains mechanically identical to the standard Ronin. It is powered by an air/oil-cooled 225.9cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 20.4hp at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm of torque at 3,750rpm. The engine is paired with a smooth 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup consists of an upside-down fork (USD) at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, ensuring a balanced ride. Braking duties are managed by disc brakes on both ends, equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

A Fitting Tribute with Unique Styling

The TVS Ronin Parakram is a fitting tribute to the soldiers of the Kargil War, combining striking custom design with the dependable performance of the original Ronin. While this special edition won’t be available for purchase, it serves as a powerful symbol of honor and patriotism, celebrating the courage and sacrifice of India’s heroes.
