Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 Revealed with New Features and Colours

News Story

Royal Enfield has unveiled the updated version of its beloved Classic 350 motorcycle, ahead of its official launch on September 1. Known for its retro charm and iconic status, the Classic 350 now comes with additional features and new colour options. Although pricing will be announced soon, bookings and test rides for the updated model will start on the same day.

New Features: Modern Touch to a Classic Ride

The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to retain its classic appeal, with familiar design elements such as large mudguards, a metal fuel tank, and the flowing retro lines that define its character. However, Royal Enfield has introduced a set of modern features to keep up with the times.

The most notable additions include LED lighting for the headlight, tail-light, indicators, and pilot lights, bringing a contemporary edge to its timeless design. Riders will also appreciate the USB-C charging port, adjustable levers, and a gear-position indicator—all designed to enhance convenience during rides.

Same Reliable J-Series Engine from 2021

The heart of the updated Classic 350 remains the reliable J-series engine introduced in 2021. This air/oil-cooled, 349cc single-cylinder engine produces 20.2hp and 27Nm of torque, ensuring a smooth and powerful riding experience. While the engine performance remains unchanged, the inclusion of modern features elevates the overall package.

New Colour Themes: Retro Meets Modern

The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 comes with five exciting new colour themes: Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, and Emerald. These fresh themes add new visual appeal while preserving the bike’s vintage charm.

Heritage Series: Available in Jodhpur Blue and Madras Red.

Heritage Premium: Comes in the sophisticated Medallion Bronze finish.

Signals Series: Finished in the rugged Commando Sand.

Dark Series: Features Gun Grey and the bold Stealth Black (black on black finish).

Emerald: Lives up to its name with a rich, emerald green color.

The Dark and Emerald trims come equipped with the Tripper navigation pod as standard. Additionally, the Emerald variant features adjustable brake levers and LED indicators, adding more tech sophistication to its package.

Suspension and Braking: Built for Comfort and Control

The suspension duties on the Classic 350 are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride on various terrains. Depending on the variant, braking duties are carried out by a single disc and drum setup on lower trims, while higher variants feature a rear disc and dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety and performance.

Alloy Wheels and Tubeless Tyres: A Modern Twist on Retro Looks

Some variants of the Classic 350 are also available with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. This gives the bike a subtle, modern twist without compromising its retro aesthetics. These elements not only add to the bike’s appeal but also contribute to a more convenient and safer riding experience.

Price Expectations and Launch

Prices for the updated Classic 350 are expected to see a slight increase over the current model. The current Royal Enfield Classic 350 is priced between Rs 1.93 lakh to Rs 2.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). With the addition of new features and colour options, the updated version may carry a slightly higher price tag.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Continues to Evolve

The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 successfully blends its iconic vintage design with modern features. With LED lighting, new colour options, and convenient tech additions like the USB-C port, it appeals to both loyal fans and new riders alike. Though the core engine remains unchanged, the new enhancements elevate the riding experience, making the Classic 350 a strong contender in the modern retro motorcycle market.
