Triumph Updates the Speed 400 for 2025

News Story

Triumph has refreshed its popular Speed 400 for the 2025 model year, introducing additional features and new color options. The updated Speed 400 is now priced at ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is approximately ₹6,000 more than its previous price.

Key Updates and Features

New Tyres: One of the most significant changes is the addition of Vredestein tyres. The Speed 400 now features tyres with thicker sidewalls, measuring 110/80 R17 at the front and 150/70 R17 at the rear, compared to the previous measurements of 110/70 R17 and 150/60 R17. This change results in a slightly increased seat height and ground clearance, giving the motorcycle a taller stance.

Revised Seat

The seat has also been updated, now featuring 10mm more foam padding than before. Triumph claims that despite the extra padding, the seat has been reprofiled to maintain a similar ground reach for riders.

Adjustable Levers

The Speed 400 now comes standard with adjustable hand levers, enhancing rider comfort and customization.

New Color Options

Triumph has introduced four new color options for the Speed 400, some of which include a blacked-out finish on the exhaust system, a feature not available in the previous model.

In addition to the updates on the Speed 400, Triumph has also launched a more affordable entry-level motorcycle based on this model, called the Speed T4, priced at ₹2.17 lakh. This provides a cost-effective option for new riders looking to enter the Triumph family.
