KTM 200 Duke Launched with New TFT Dash at Rs 2.03 Lakh

News Story

KTM has officially launched the 200 Duke in India at a price of Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This latest version of the 200 Duke comes equipped with some exciting updates, most notably the addition of a 5-inch TFT dash, similar to what is seen on the larger 390 Duke models.

New TFT Dash: A Major Upgrade

The biggest highlight of the new KTM 200 Duke is its 5-inch TFT dash, which offers advanced features that enhance the riding experience. This dash brings Bluetooth connectivity to the 200 Duke, allowing riders to connect their smartphones via the KTM app. The TFT screen provides turn-by-turn navigation prompts, incoming call alerts, and music playback control if paired with a Bluetooth headset installed in your helmet.

This upgrade makes the 200 Duke one of the few KTM models to feature a TFT dash, alongside the 390 Duke and RC 390.

Unchanged Mechanicals, Same Performance

While the new dash and switchgear add modern tech to the 200 Duke, the bike remains mechanically identical to its previous version. The engine is still the familiar single-cylinder, 199.5cc unit that produces 25hp and 19.3Nm of torque. The 200 Duke continues to be built on the Gen 2 KTM platform, providing a balance of power and agility.

Weighing 159kg with a full 13.4-litre fuel tank, the 200 Duke retains its lightweight and nimble handling, making it an excellent choice for both city commuting and occasional spirited rides.

Price Increase

With these new features, the price of the KTM 200 Duke has gone up by Rs 4,500 compared to the previous model. Despite the price hike, the added technology, particularly the TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity, makes this upgrade worthwhile for riders who value convenience and modern tech on their motorcycles.

The introduction of the TFT dash and Bluetooth features brings the KTM 200 Duke closer to its larger sibling, the 390 Duke, in terms of tech and connectivity. At Rs 2.03 lakh, the price increase is modest considering the advanced features being offered. For those seeking a compact, tech-loaded motorcycle, the 200 Duke remains a compelling option in the sub-250cc segment.
