Hero Mavrick 440: New Top Variant Showcased at EICMA 2024

News Story

Hero MotoCorp made a significant splash at EICMA 2024, unveiling several new models, including the updated Mavrick 440. While the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250, and Karizma 250 grabbed headlines, the Mavrick 440 quietly stood out with its exciting new updates.

This motorcycle, based on the co-developed X440 platform with Harley-Davidson, will soon feature premium upgrades. These changes aim to position it as the top variant in the Mavrick lineup.

Shared Components with Harley X440
The Hero Mavrick 440 shares its platform and core mechanical components with the Harley-Davidson X440. This collaboration allowed Hero to price the Mavrick 440 significantly lower than the Harley. However, the latest updates will push the Mavrick 440 closer to Harley’s premium offerings in terms of features.

What’s New in the Updated Hero Mavrick 440?
Gold-Coloured USD Forks
The updated Mavrick 440 will feature gold-colored upside-down (USD) forks. This enhancement not only improves aesthetics but also adds a premium touch to the motorcycle.

TFT Display
Hero has equipped the top-spec Mavrick 440 with a rectangular TFT display housed within a circular frame. This design mirrors the display on the Harley X440, providing a sleek and modern feel.

Performance Remains Unchanged
While the new updates elevate its visual appeal, the Mavrick 440 retains the same reliable mechanical setup. It continues to be powered by a 440cc air/oil-cooled engine, delivering 27hp and 36Nm of torque. This ensures consistent performance and smooth handling.

Hero Mavrick 440 Pricing and Variants
Currently, the Hero Mavrick 440 is available in three variants priced between ₹1.99 lakh and ₹2.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In comparison, the Harley X440 costs ₹2.39 lakh to ₹2.89 lakh.
