Triumph Unveils the Trident 800 (2025 edition)

News Story

Triumph has launched the all-new Trident 800, a middleweight naked roadster that expands the Trident lineup above the 660. Built around a re-engineered 798cc inline triple engine derived from the Tiger Sport 800, it produces 115 hp at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. The bike offers around 40% more power than the 660, with a stronger midrange and a higher-revving top end, designed to bridge the gap between everyday comfort and Street Triple performance.

Weighing 198 kg and standing at a seat height of 810 mm, the Trident 800 features a steel perimeter frame with Showa suspension and twin 310mm front discs with four-piston calipers.

Electronics include lean-sensitive cornering ABS, traction control, three riding modes (Road, Sport, Rain), cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, and self-cancelling indicators. With a 3.5-inch TFT display and a sporty design featuring a sculpted 14-litre tank and round LED headlamp, the Trident 800 balances aggressive style with daily usability.

Priced at GBP 9,195 (around Rs 10.72 lakh) in the UK, it sits close to the Street Triple R and is expected to arrive in India soon, offering riders a compelling choice in the middleweight naked segment. It competes with bikes like the Yamaha R9 and KTM 790 Duke, aiming to deliver a refined, accessible, and thrilling ride experience.
