Honda has launched the all-new CB1000GT at EICMA 2025 in Milan, a motorcycle designed to blend thrilling performance with touring practicality. Based on the CB1000 Hornet, the CB1000GT retains the 1,000cc inline-four engine but is tuned for stronger mid-range power, making 149.7hp and 102Nm torque, complemented by revised gear ratios for an optimal touring experience.

The bike features an extended subframe and swingarm for added pillion and luggage capacity, an accessible 825mm seat height, and 133mm ground clearance with a kerb weight of 229kg, ensuring stability and rider comfort over long distances. Showa’s electronically adjustable suspension with four preset modes adapts damping dynamically, while advanced brakes with cornering ABS provide confident stopping power.

The CB1000GT is loaded with electronics, including riding modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. Touring essentials such as heated grips, knuckle guards, detachable panniers, and a centre stand come standard, making it a compelling option in the litre-class sport-touring segment, aimed directly at competitors like the Kawasaki Versys 1100 and BMW S 1000 XR.
