Suzuki has introduced the all-new SV-7GX at EICMA 2025, marking its entry into the middleweight sport-touring segment. The SV-7GX combines the nimble performance of a sporty street bike with the comfort and practicality of an adventure tourer, borrowing design cues from the aggressive GSX-S1000GX and powered by the proven 645cc V-twin engine from the SV650 and V-Strom 650XT, now updated to Euro 5+ standards.
Delivering 73.4hp and 64Nm of torque, the bike features a ride-by-wire throttle system, three riding modes, and three-level adjustable traction control, alongside a bi-directional quickshifter. Its chassis includes a 41mm telescopic fork with 125mm travel and a preload-adjustable monoshock with 129mm travel. The 17-inch cast aluminum wheels roll on Pirelli Angel GT II tyres for reliable grip, while braking is handled by dual 290mm discs up front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
The SV-7GX offers rider comfort through an upright riding position with a lowered seat height of 795mm, a three-position adjustable windscreen, knuckle guards, and a generous 17.4-litre fuel tank providing over 400km touring range. A 4.2-inch full-color TFT display with smartphone connectivity, USB-C charging port, and integrated rear carrier complete the package.
Set to launch globally by mid-2026 with pricing yet to be revealed, the Suzuki SV-7GX aims to challenge sport-tourer rivals like the Yamaha Tracer 7 and Kawasaki Versys 650 by blending sportiness with everyday usability and touring capability.
This versatile crossover model reflects Suzuki’s strategy to cater to modern riders seeking performance, technology, and practical touring features in one package.
