Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Z1100 in India at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This flagship naturally aspirated supernaked bike succeeds the long-discontinued Z1000 and shares its 1,099cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine with the Ninja 1100SX, producing 136hp at 9,000rpm and 113Nm at 7,600rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS).
The Z1100 features fully adjustable Showa suspension front and rear, Tokico braking hardware, and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires. It weighs 221kg kerb, matching its international counterpart despite typical Indian specifications usually adding weight.
Electronics include a new 5-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and message notifications, a five-axis IMU, cornering ABS, three traction control levels, two power modes, cruise control, and dual-channel ABS. It comes only in Metallic Grey color.
Priced competitively, the Z1100 undercuts rivals like the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP (Rs 13.29 lakh) while offering comprehensive features and aggressive styling in Kawasaki’s signature Sugomi design language.
