Suzuki has introduced subtle yet significant updates for the iconic 2026 Hayabusa superbike. While the 1,340cc inline-four engine continues to produce 190 hp and 150 Nm of torque, the signature improvements focus on enhanced rideability and touring comfort through revised electronics.
The selectable throttle maps have been retuned to boost low-end torque, providing stronger acceleration and smoother performance in everyday riding scenarios. The cruise control system has been refined to stay active during gear changes when using the bi-directional quickshifter. Additionally, the launch control system has been improved for quicker, smoother take-offs, and the bike now features a compact, lighter lithium-ion battery to reduce weight.
Suzuki UK is offering the Akrapovič exhaust system as an optional accessory at a significantly discounted price, enhancing the bike’s performance and sound.
The 2026 Hayabusa also introduces a Special Edition with a striking blue and white color scheme, featuring a 3D Suzuki emblem and unique badging for added exclusivity.
These targeted updates refresh the Hayabusa’s legendary combination of blistering power and refined electronics, ensuring it remains a top choice for superbike enthusiasts worldwide. The updated model is priced at approximately £18,599 (around ₹21.55 lakh) in the UK, with no confirmed timeline yet for an India launch, though it may command a slight premium over the outgoing model if introduced there.
This update reaffirms Suzuki’s commitment to blending iconic performance with modern technology enhancements for a superbike that excels on both daily roads and long-distance touring.
