Suzuki Access 125 Gets Single-Channel ABS: Most Affordable Scooter with Safety Tech at Rs 92,328

News Story

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Access 125 with single-channel ABS, making it the most affordable scooter in India to offer this advanced safety feature. Priced from Rs 92,328 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it’s available on the top two variants – Ride Connect ABS and Ride Connect TFT ABS.

What’s New
Single-channel ABS is now standard on the premium Ride Connect and TFT trims, a first for mass-market 125cc scooters. This voluntary addition enhances braking confidence on slippery roads, unlike larger 150cc+ scooters where ABS is mandated. The update builds on last year’s new-gen Access refresh, boosting safety without major mechanical changes.

Specifications and Pricing
The familiar 124cc air-cooled engine delivers 8.4hp and 10.2Nm, paired with front disc and rear drum brakes. ABS variants cost Rs 3,601 and Rs 4,501 more than standard models, starting at Rs 92,328 for Ride Connect ABS and Rs 98,378 for TFT ABS. Features include Bluetooth, USB charging, and a height of 1155mm.

Market Impact
This positions Access ahead of rivals like TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa in safety, encouraging others to follow suit. On-road prices range Rs 88,230 to Rs 1.10 lakh, retaining its bestseller status with improved peace of mind for commuters. Head to Suzuki dealers for a test ride!
