Ducati unveils the all-new second-gen DesertX, completely redesigned from customer feedback and rally experience. Powered by an efficient 890cc V2 engine, this rally-bred middleweight ADV promises sharper handling, lower CG, and Q4 2026 India arrival.
V2 Power & Chassis Revolution
Ditches 937cc Testastretta for 890cc Ducati V2 (Panigale V2/Multistrada sibling): same 110hp/92Nm but 70% torque from 3,000rpm. Tailored gears (short 1-4, long 6th), monocoque frame using engine as stressed member – 1kg lighter at 209kg wet (dry).
Suspension & Braking Upgrades
KYB fully adjustable USD fork: 230mm travel
Rear monoshock with full-floater linkage: 220mm travel
Brembo M4.32 monoblocs + 305mm front discs
21″/18″ tubeless spoked wheels on Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires
Ergonomics refined: rear-set pegs, forward bars/seat, slimmer 18L tank lowers CG. Seat 880mm (low kit drops to 840mm).
Electronics Arsenal
6-axis IMU enables 6 riding modes (Sport/Touring/Urban/Wet/Enduro/Rally), cornering ABS/TC/wheelie/engine brake control, quickshifter, cruise control, 5-inch TFT display.
