Triumph has listed the limited-edition Speed Twin 1200 TFC on its Indian website at Rs 20.99 lakh ex-showroom, just a day after its global unveiling. Limited to only 750 individually numbered units worldwide, the motorcycle becomes the fifth model to receive Triumph’s exclusive Factory Custom (TFC) badge.

Performance and hardware
The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is powered by the same 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as the Speed Twin 1200 RS. It produces 105hp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm at 4,250rpm, with power sent through a six-speed gearbox. The standard exhaust has been replaced by premium Akrapovič titanium silencers with black detailing and carbon-fibre end caps.

The biggest mechanical upgrades are found in the chassis. The TFC gets Öhlins suspension, including an upside-down front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking hardware includes Brembo Stylema M4.30 calipers, while the motorcycle also receives a Brembo MCS adjustable front brake lever. At 214kg wet, it is around 2kg lighter than the standard Speed Twin 1200 RS.

Sportier riding position
Unlike the standard model, the TFC features clip-on handlebars, creating a more committed and sporty riding position. The revised ergonomics are aimed at riders looking for sharper handling and a more engaging experience, although they may be less relaxed for everyday use.

The electronics package has been carried over and includes a bidirectional quickshifter, three riding modes, cornering ABS, and traction control. These features help the motorcycle deliver better control across different road and riding conditions.

Exclusive design and equipment
The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is available in a single Obsidian Gold colour scheme, combining a metallic black base with gold detailing. The motorcycle also features carbon-fibre body panels, including the mudguards, side panels, and heel plates, along with a hand-stitched single-piece seat.

Each unit gets a laser-etched production number on the billet-aluminium top yoke and carries a TFC emblem. Buyers will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity, a branded bike cover, and a waterproof seat cover.

Price and availability
Priced at Rs 20.99 lakh, the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC is significantly more expensive than the regular Speed Twin 1200 range, which is priced between Rs 13.84 lakh and Rs 17.99 lakh.

With its limited production run, upgraded Öhlins and Brembo hardware, Akrapovič exhaust, carbon-fibre parts, and individually numbered detailing, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC is aimed primarily at collectors and enthusiasts seeking exclusivity rather than outright value.
