Hero MotoCorp showcased two exciting motorcycles at EICMA 2025 in Milan: the rally-inspired Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition and the rugged Hunk 440 SX scrambler. The Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition builds on the popular Xpulse 210 platform, featuring fully adjustable, rally-grade suspension with 280mm travel at both ends and a towering 270mm ground clearance, significantly enhancing off-road capability.

The seat height has also been increased to accommodate the longer suspension, making it ideal for tackling tough terrains. The bike runs on knobby Maxxis tires and sports a distinctive red, white, and black Dakar-inspired livery, complete with a navigation mount, reinforced frame, and protective guards for endurance riding.

It retains the proven 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 24.6hp and 20.7Nm torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and multiple ABS modes including off-road setting. The Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition is expected to launch by the end of 2025.

The Hunk 440 SX, meanwhile, is a scrambler-themed variant based on the Mavrick 440 sold abroad. It features rugged styling cues such as a tall windscreen, braced handlebars, split seats, a distinctive tail section, and a twin vertically stacked exhaust.

The new model introduces electronics like ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes, switchable ABS, and traction control for enhanced safety and performance on varied surfaces. Although targeted primarily at export markets, Hero may consider bringing the Hunk 440 SX to India as well, appealing to riders seeking a mid-capacity scrambler with modern features.

Both models underscore Hero’s commitment to expanding its portfolio with adventurous and performance-oriented motorcycles designed for both domestic and international markets.
