Jawa 730 Twin Unveiled: 73cc Parallel-Twin Cafe Racer Set for Global Debut

News Story

Jawa, the iconic Czech motorcycle brand licensed to Classic Legends in India, has unveiled the stunning 730 Twin for international markets. This new cafe racer boasts a purpose-built 730cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, premium cycle parts, and retro-modern styling, positioning it as a premium contender in Jawa’s global 750cc lineup.

Engine and Performance
At the heart lies a 730cc twin-cylinder mill developed with Swiss engineering firm Suter – famous for Moto2 success – pumping out 75hp at 8,200rpm and 68Nm at 7,100rpm. Paired with high-end hardware like KYB USD forks upfront, a rear monoshock, and Brembo twin disc brakes, it promises sharp handling on 17-inch alloys at both ends.

Design Highlights
The 730 Twin sports a raked-out front with a classic round headlamp reminiscent of Jawa’s heritage models, a single-seat setup, integrated tail-light, and swingarm-mounted number plate. Modern touches include a TFT display offering navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, call/SMS alerts, making it tech-savvy yet true to cafe racer roots.

Launch and Availability
Expected to premiere at the Motosalon trade fair in Brno, Czech Republic next month, this model joins Jawa’s global retro, racer, and tourer offerings under the 750cc platform. Note: It’s developed by Jawa Moto in Czechia with no plans for India, where Classic Legends focuses on local models like Jawa 42, 350, and Perak.
