News Story
KTM India has quietly listed the off-road-focused 390 Adventure R on its website at Rs 3.78 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), surprisingly cheaper than the standard 390 Adventure’s Rs 3.97 lakh despite superior dirt credentials. This rally-inspired variant borrows its 230mm-travel suspension and 21/18-inch spoked wheels from the 390 Enduro R, boosting ground clearance to 272mm and seat height to 870mm for serious trail action. Bookings are open for Rs 1,999 (refundable).
Key Upgrades
It retains the 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine (46hp, 39Nm), 6-speed gearbox with bidirectional quickshifter, and electronics suite like off-road ABS, traction control, Bluetooth, and riding modes from the standard model. Differences shine off-road: tubed Mitas Enduro Trail tires replace tubeless Apollo Tramplrs, and the 14L tank keeps weight low at around 176kg (UK spec). Only white/orange color available.
