Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Gets Slip/Assist Clutch & USB-C Upgrade

News Story

Royal Enfield has updated its niche Goan Classic 350 bobber with practical enhancements for better city riding and convenience. The 2026 model now stands out in the 350cc lineup as one of the few with these upgrades.

Key Updates
Slip/Assist Clutch Added: Reduces clutch lever effort for smoother shifts and prevents rear wheel lock during aggressive downshifts—ideal for stop-go traffic, matching features on the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350.

Faster USB-C Port: Discreetly placed under the clutch lever for quicker device charging, similar to recent Hunter updates.

Minimal Price Hike: Now Rs 2.20-2.23 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi), up just Rs 2,000 from before.

Specs Unchanged
The 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine retains its torquey character at 20.2hp and 27Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Chassis, funky bobber styling (ape-hanger bars, floating seat, white-wall tires), and ergonomics stay the same, earning praise for usability over rivals like the Jawa 42 Bobber.

Only the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 lack the clutch now among RE’s 350cc range. Existing owners should check with dealers on warranty implications for retrofits. Perfect upgrade for urban cruisers seeking refinement without radical changes.
