Vida DIRT.E K3 Electric Youth Motorcycle Launched at ₹69,990

News Story

Hero’s EV brand Vida has entered the off-road segment with the launch of the DIRT.E K3, an electric off-road motorcycle designed specifically for children aged 4 to 10 years. Priced at an introductory ₹69,990, the DIRT.E K3 aims to offer young riders a safe, confidence-inspiring first step into the world of motorcycling.

Size-adaptive, kid-focused design
A key highlight of the DIRT.E K3 is its three-stage adjustable chassis. Using a simple Allen key, parents can switch the bike between small, medium and large settings, altering both seat height and wheelbase. This allows the motorcycle to “grow” with the child, extending its usability over several years.

Vida has also stated that front and rear suspension will be available as optional accessories, intended for when the child’s skill level increases and they begin to tackle rougher terrain.

Electric powertrain and performance
Powering the DIRT.E K3 is a 500W peak-power electric motor, enabling a top speed of 23–25kph. The removable battery takes around three hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent and can deliver up to three hours of run time, depending on terrain and riding style.

The bike offers three ride modes:

Beginner: speed limited to 8kph

Amateur: speed limited to 16kph

Pro: speed limited to 25kph

These modes are designed to match the rider’s age, confidence and experience.

App-based parental control and safety
Parents can manage the DIRT.E K3 via a dedicated smartphone app, which allows them to:

Set speed limits

Lock or unlock specific ride modes

Monitor riding sessions and usage

In addition, Vida has integrated several safety-focused features, including:

Reinforced wiring

A brake lever sized for smaller hands

Energy-absorbing materials in key impact zones

An emergency cutoff tether that immediately shuts off the motor if the child falls off

Pricing, production and availability
The Vida DIRT.E K3 is priced at an introductory ₹69,990 and will be manufactured at Vida’s facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Initial deliveries are set to begin in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut, with wider availability expected later.
