Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Ninja 300 in India at Rs 3.34 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. This represents a Rs 17,000 increase over the 2026 model, but the motorcycle continues without any mechanical, design, or feature updates.

Engine and performance
The Ninja 300 continues to use a 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 39hp at 11,000rpm and 26.1Nm at 10,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and an assist-and-slipper clutch.

The motorcycle remains one of the few entry-level sportbikes in India to retain a parallel-twin engine. Its performance is supported by a conventional chassis, telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, front and rear disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS.

Features and design
The 2027 Ninja 300 carries forward the projector LED headlamps and taller windscreen introduced during its earlier update. It also retains the analogue tachometer, supplemented by a digital display.

However, the Ninja 300 does not offer modern electronic rider aids such as traction control or riding modes. Dual-channel ABS remains its only major electronic safety feature.

For 2027, Kawasaki will offer the motorcycle in a single Lime Green colour scheme. Deliveries began during the last week of July.

Competition
The Ninja 300 continues to compete with the TVS Apache RR 310, priced between Rs 2.62 lakh and Rs 2.78 lakh, and the KTM RC 390, which starts at around Rs 3.32 lakh.

With no major changes apart from the price increase and a single colour option, the 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to rely on its twin-cylinder engine, sporty styling, and established Ninja brand appeal to attract buyers in the entry-level supersport segment.
